What is UBL?

UBL (Universal Business Language) is an open XML standard for business documents such as invoices, credit notes and orders, maintained by OASIS. Peppol’s invoice specifications, and therefore PINT AE, are expressed as UBL XML.

Why it matters for UAE e-invoicing

UBL defines the structure of the document; specifications such as Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 and PINT AE define which UBL elements are used, which are mandatory, and the rules their values must follow.

Your ERP team does not need to produce UBL directly. They send invoice data to Ravera’s API, and Ravera produces the PINT AE XML.
