UAE e-invoicing for banks

Banks that issue in-scope B2B invoices in the UAE must send them as PINT AE XML through an FTA-Accredited Service Provider. Ravera connects core banking, card and ERP systems through one REST API, reports every document to the FTA, and keeps records in UAE-domiciled storage for 7 years. Ravera is a subsidiary of Ilyda SA.

The challenge

Where e-invoicing gets harder

  • Invoices come from many systems

Fees are billed from core banking, cards, trade finance, treasury and the ERP. Each system needs a compliant route to the FTA.

  • Every vendor faces a security review

Information security, outsourcing and data governance teams must approve any provider that handles financial records.

  • Month-end peaks

Billing volume concentrates at month-end and quarter-end, exactly when finance teams can least afford delays.

How Ravera fits

The services that matter most

All six services are available, standalone or together. These carry the most weight in your sector.
  • Issue & convert

Core banking, card and ERP systems all send invoice data to the same API.

  • Validate & sign

Errors are caught before submission, not in a regulator’s inbox.

  • Receive

Supplier invoices arrive as structured data for procurement and payables.

  • Archive

7 years of UAE-domiciled records, ready for audit.

Residency, volume and structure

Data residency
Every document is archived for 7 years in UAE-domiciled storage and can be retrieved for auditors and the FTA. Records stay in the country.
Volume
Documents are validated one by one before submission, so a single bad record never holds up a billing run. Service levels for your volume are set in your contract.
Multi-entity
Banking groups with several licensed entities keep one provider, one API and one support team, with each invoice reported under the right tax registration.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can a core banking system connect to Ravera directly?

Yes. Any system that can make secure HTTPS calls can send invoice data to Ravera’s REST API, including core banking and card platforms. Your IT team or integrator builds and owns the connection. Ravera provides the API, sandbox and credentials, helps map your data to PINT AE, and assists testing until validation, exchange and reporting pass.

Which bank invoices fall under the UAE e-invoicing mandate?

That depends on the service and its VAT treatment, so your tax adviser should confirm which of your bank’s invoices are in scope. Ravera is a technology provider and does not give tax advice. Once the scope is agreed, Ravera processes every in-scope invoice your systems send, from validation through Peppol exchange to FTA reporting and archiving.
