UAE e-invoicing for professional services

Professional services firms that issue in-scope B2B invoices in the UAE must send them as PINT AE XML through an FTA-Accredited Service Provider. Ravera connects practice management and accounting systems through one REST API, and offers web invoicing for firms with lower volumes, so project, retainer and fee invoices stay compliant with little effort.

The challenge

Where e-invoicing gets harder

  • Varied invoice types

Project milestones, retainers, time-based fees and expenses each produce different invoices.

  • Two systems

Time and billing often live in a practice management tool, with finance in a separate accounting system.

  • Small finance teams

Firms need compliance without a large IT project or new headcount.

Residency, volume and structure

Data residency
Client invoices are archived for 7 years in UAE-domiciled storage, so records stay in the country.
Volume
Lower-volume firms can use web invoicing with no build. Higher volumes connect through the API.
Multi-entity
Firms with several practices or entities keep one provider, with each invoice reported under the right tax registration.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do we need an integration if we only issue a few invoices a month?

No. Firms with lower volumes can use Ravera’s web invoicing to create and send compliant e-invoices in the browser, with no build and no ERP connection. If your volume grows, or you want invoices to flow automatically from your accounting system, your team or partner can connect it to Ravera’s REST API later.

Can Ravera tell us whether our services are in scope?

No. Ravera is a technology provider, not a tax adviser or consultancy, so it does not advise on whether particular services are in scope. Your tax adviser can confirm that. Once scope is clear, Ravera issues, validates, exchanges, reports and archives every in-scope invoice you send through the API or web invoicing.
