UAE e-invoicing for insurers and brokers
Insurers and brokers that issue in-scope B2B invoices in the UAE must send them as PINT AE XML through an FTA-Accredited Service Provider. Ravera connects policy administration and finance systems through one REST API, exchanges invoices with brokers, reinsurers and corporate clients over Peppol, and reports each one to the FTA in near real time.
The challenge
Where e-invoicing gets harder
Billing lives outside the ERP
Premiums and fees are often billed from policy administration systems, while finance runs on a separate ERP.
Many counterparties
Brokers, agents, reinsurers and corporate policyholders each send and receive invoices, in both directions.
Heavy inbound volume
Claims-related suppliers and service providers send a steady flow of invoices that payables must process.
How Ravera fits
The services that matter most
Issue & convert
Policy administration and ERP systems send invoice data to the same API.
Exchange
Invoices reach brokers, reinsurers and clients through their own service providers.
Receive
Inbound supplier invoices arrive as structured data for payables.
Report to the FTA
Each document is reported to the FTA automatically.
Residency, volume and structure
- Data residency
- Every document is archived for 7 years in UAE-domiciled storage, supporting the record-keeping expectations insurers already work under.
- Volume
- Renewal cycles create predictable peaks. Documents are validated individually before submission, so one error does not stop a batch.
- Multi-entity
- Groups with separate insurance, brokerage and service entities keep one provider and one API, with each invoice reported under the right tax registration.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can a policy administration system send invoices to Ravera?
Yes. Policy administration systems can send invoice data straight to Ravera’s REST API, alongside your ERP. Your IT team or integrator builds and owns each connection, and Ravera maps both during onboarding. Every invoice is then validated, exchanged over Peppol and reported to the FTA, whichever system it came from.
Do insurance brokers need their own Accredited Service Provider?
A broker that issues or receives in-scope e-invoices needs an Accredited Service Provider to do so over the Peppol network. The broker chooses its own provider, which does not have to be the same as the insurer’s. Brokers can appoint Ravera directly, and the service contract is always between the broker and Ravera.
