Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 is the Peppol business interoperability specification for invoices and credit notes, published by OpenPeppol. It defines the data and rules for e-invoices exchanged over Peppol, and is the foundation on which PINT AE is built.

BIS Billing 3.0 is aligned with the European e-invoicing standard and is widely used across Peppol countries. Country specifications such as PINT AE add the fields and rules a national system needs.
