What is Central Data Platform?

The Central Data Platform is the FTA system that receives tax data reported by Accredited Service Providers for each e-invoice. It gives the FTA a near real-time view of invoiced transactions, without the invoices themselves being routed through a government platform.

Reporting to the platform is the responsibility of the Accredited Service Provider, not the business. Each document is reported as part of the exchange process.

Because reporting is automatic, the quality of what reaches the platform depends on the quality of the invoice data your ERP sends. Validation before submission catches errors before they are reported.
